THE COMPANY

The Haymount Truck Stop—Fayetteville's 1st Food Truck Court—will be the premier patio space within the city. Located in the heart of the Haymount District, the Truck Stop will have a full-service bar, arcade, outdoor patio space and your favorite local food trucks! We plan to open this summer and need a great team to make it a reality.

THE ROLE

We are searching for an experienced and dependableBar Manager to run the Truck Stop bar like a well-oiled machine! The Bar Manager will help us hire and train bartenders and other staff, manage the bar inventory and vendor relationships, and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent service. The Bar Manager will also make sure quality and safety controls for the bar are followed, maintain our liquor license, and create staff schedules. You’ll have a chance to build something from the ground up, have a key role within the management team, and have growth opportunities along the way!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the Truck Stop’s bar by maintaining liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory, and reordering supplies
• Hire, train, manage, and schedule bar staff
• Set and enforce quality and safety controls
• Work with diverse personalities both of the staff and patrons
• Maintain patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing service offerings

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Great interpersonal, communication and customer-service skills
• Extensive knowledge of liquor, bartending and service protocols
• Solid organizational skills and facility with budgets, inventories and negotiating prices with vendors
• Working knowledge of various software and technology (MS Office, POS, etc.)
• Must be able to stand for 10+ hours and lift 50 lbs.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent (Required)
• Management Experience, 2 years (Preferred)
• Food and/or Beverage Industry Experience, 2 years (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
